I have lived in Japan since 2010. After 14 years in Tokyo, I moved to Miyota (Nagano) in August 2024, where I now enjoy a more rural life. I speak Japanese fluently.

I'm a certified software engineer with a strong interest in web technologies. I currently work at Shopify, remotely from Miyota.

I discovered Ruby on Rails at work in 2013, and Ruby and Rails have been my programming language and web framework of choice ever since.
